Abstract This dataset contains the frequency of selection of different planning units after 100 runs in Marxan with Zones (Watts et al., 2009) to identify two different Green and Blue Infrastructure (GBl) designs in the CS2. (1) A baseline scenario considering the current status and distribution of biodiversity and Ecosystem Services in the study area and (2) a second scenario where the restoration of degraded habitats using an Ecosystem-Based Management approach is incorporated in the design of the GBl. Specifically, the outcome of the scenario including EBMs was a GBI that prioritized potential restoration areas for the investment in EBM measures to reach the EU Biodiversity Strategy 2020 target 2 (i.e., restoring at least 15 % of degraded ecosystems by 2020).
