Abstract This dataset contains Ecosystem Services (ES), presented as spatially explicit indicators, representing the capacity of provision in the CS2. Specifically we offer 15 different ES among (1) provisioning services, (2) regulation and maintenance and (3) cultural services (Common International Classification of Ecosystem services; CICES V5). The ES indicators on flood regulation, carbon sequestration, pollination, soil retention (i.e. sediments) and potential recreational opportunities have been produced using the ARtificial Intelligence for Ecosystem Services modelling platform (ARIES, Villa et al., 2014). ES that could not be mapped using ARIES due to data availability constraints, were derived from the spatial distribution of the ES capacity based on the ecosystem types. All ES are mapped at the 100 m resolution, re-scaled to range between 0-1 and aggregated to the respective PU expressing the summary of the data.
