| Abstract | A contribution to the characterization and understanding of the hydrodynamic behavior of Ria de Aveiro lagoon is presented, based on an experimental study, as well as on a numerical modelling study. The hydrological features of Ria de Aveiro were investigated in several sampling surveys, where measurements of water level, salinity, water temperature and current velocity were performed at several stations located along the four main channels of the lagoon. |
