| Abstract | These five digital information posters, created by the EU Horizon 2020 funded PONDERFUL project, which ran from December 2020 to 2024, summarise some of the project’s key findings about ponds and pondscapes. They summarise information included in the PONDERFUL technical handbook (‘Ponds and Pondscapes: a technical guide to the use of ponds and pondscapes as nature-based solutions for climate change mitigation and adaptation’). The topics are: 1. What is a pondscape? 2. Ponds and pondscapes as nature-based solutions for climate change adaptation and mitigation. 3. Ponds and pondscapes for biodiversity. 4. Managing, restoring and creating ponds and pondscapes for climate change adaptation. 5. CLIMA-ponds. |
